Waldorf salad recipe
- Wash the celery stalks and cut into small cubes.
- Also chop the celery root, pour boiling water over it for 10 minutes and put it on a sieve.
- Peel a medium-sized apple. Remove the core, also cut into small cubes and drizzle with lemon juice.
- Dry the walnuts and crush them with your hand.
- Cut the grapes into 2 or 4 pieces, remove the seeds.
- Cut canned pineapples into medium cubes; you do not need to use salad juice.
- Mix all ingredients except grapes.
- The easiest dressing option is mayonnaise., but I decided to be smart.
- Beat chilled heavy cream (33-35%) until fluffy.
- Add to them the same amount of mayonnaise and a few drops of lemon juice.
- Instead of cream, you can use Greek yogurt or sour cream.
- If the apple is not sour enough, you may want to add lemon juice.
- Traditionally, this salad is served with ham or poultry, but without them it is delicious.

2 stalks of celery (~ 70 g)
120 g celery root
1 sweet and sour apple
a small jar of pineapples or tangerines (~ 300 g)
50-60 g walnuts
100-120 g of grapes

70 g heavy cream
70 g mayonnaise
