Very tasty fish under a vegetable "coat". An unusual combination, but very tasty! I don't know why it is called "Donetsk". But it was with this name that this recipe was recorded in my mother's notebook. I wrote it down for myself))
How to cook
I boil or bake beets and carrots in advance. I cut the onion into half rings and fry in a little vegetable oil.
I grate the carrots, salt and pour with lemon juice. I stir it.
I also rub the beets on a coarse grater, add salt, sugar and a little lemon juice. I mix well too.
I mix sour cream with finely chopped herbs (I have parsley).
Now the fish. Suitable here fillet of any fish. I usually cook hake or pollock like that. But you can take red fish, of course. I also really liked this mackerel recipe.
I rub the fish with salt and spices. I put it in a suitable baking dish. I grease the form with oil beforehand.
I spread the prepared beets on top of the fish.
Then a layer of carrots, fried onions and sour cream dressing.
Sprinkle with finely grated cheese. And I put it in the oven, preheated to 180 degrees, for 25 minutes.
