Today I want to invite you to cook lazy pies, for which you will not need to knead the dough. And as a filling, you can use ordinary sausages and mashed potatoes - it turns out very satisfying and aromatic.

I take sausages, mashed potatoes and cook such "lazy" pies: I do not knead the dough at the same time

To make a whole plate of these lazy pies it takes me about half an hour! For the snack, you can use yesterday's mashed potatoes or cook it from scratch and then cool it down a little. Ideal for lunch instead of bread or for a snack.

📕To make "lazy" pies you will need: 🍲

Potatoes - 1 kg
Thin lavash - 1-2 pcs. (depends on the size)
Sausages - 300 g
Chicken eggs (large) - 3 pcs.
Starch (potato or corn) - 2 tbsp. l.
Wheat flour - 4 tbsp. l.
Milk - 2-3 tbsp. l.
Salt - 1 tsp l.
Refined sunflower oil - for frying "pies".

👨🏻‍🍳 Let's start cooking... ⤵️⤵️⤵️

First of all, prepare mashed potatoes for the filling (as I said, you can use yesterday mashed potatoes) for this, peel the potatoes, chop and boil in salted water until readiness. Next, drain the water and knead the still hot potatoes with a fork or crush in mashed potatoes. If the mass turns out to be dry, add a little milk or sour cream (which is). You can also add some butter. But the mashed potatoes should not turn out to be too liquid in the end! And let the mashed potatoes cool completely.

Now we take pita bread, if you have it too large, we cut it into layers a little larger than the album sheet. On each layer we put a certain amount of cooked mashed potatoes and evenly distribute it in a not too thick layer.

Next, take the sausages, remove the shell and lay them out along one edge in a row.

We roll up into a tight roll.

Cut into pieces 5-7 cm thick. We repeat the same with all the remaining products.

Now we are preparing the batter. Break eggs into a deep bowl, add salt and milk. If desired, add black pepper and / or other spices for piquancy.

Pour flour and starch in portions. You can add only one flour, but when you add starch, the baked goods remain soft for a long time. We mix the batter with a whisk, trying to get rid of the smallest lumps. The finished dough should turn out to be pouring, enveloping, not very dense.

Now we take our prepared "lazy" pies one by one and dip them in batter.

Pour some vegetable oil into a frying pan, heat it up and spread the "lazy" pies. Fry on 2 sides until a beautiful golden brown crust is formed.

Put the fried batch on paper napkins to get rid of excess fat from the surface.
