Today I will tell you another recipe for baking mackerel.

Mackerel is a storehouse of omega-3! And if possible, you should include this fish in the diet.

By including mackerel in your diet, you can:

  • reduce the risk of developing cardiovascular disease,
  • helps to lower cholesterol levels,
  • can reduce the risk of developing many conditions and diseases of the brain,
  • helps prevent arthritis or relieve pain in the presence of a medical condition.
  • It is easy to get an impressive amount of choline, folic acid, vitamins E, D, A, K, B3, B12, ascorbic acid from a portion of fish.

Let's cook a fish to be tasty and healthy.

🐟Ingredients I need:

✔ 1 piece of mackerel per 395g,

✔1 large onion - 90 g,

✔ tomatoes - 100 g (I have frozen),

✔ lemon juice 1 tablespoon, salt, pepper, and your favorite spices for fish (I have a spice "Herbs of Italy + rosemary),

✔ sesame seeds optional.

🐟Cooking.

We clean the fish, wash it well and cut it into portioned pieces.

Cut the onion into half rings or rings.

The fish cook quite quickly and often the onion does not have time to cook. I don't like the taste of uncooked onions, so I put the chopped onions in the microwave for a couple of minutes.

Cut the tomatoes into slices.

I used frozen tomatoes, which are convenient to chop before they are completely thawed. It is better to remove the film from defrosted tomatoes.

Salt and pepper the fish and add your favorite spices and put on foil.

Lay portions of fish with tomatoes and onions.

We roll up the foil boat and send it to the oven preheated to 180-190 degrees for 30 minutes.
