What is the most important thing during a fast? Lack of animal food. But you should try to overdo it and start a real hunger strike, as it is very dangerous.
Poor nutrition in spring leads to depletion of an organism already weakened during the winter. Therefore, for satiety and increased protein in the diet, you can try to cook various dishes from beans, especially from red beans, more often in your lean menu. But white is also good.
Why beans? It is an excellent substitute for meat and a complete protein, only of plant origin.
Try these bean cutlets and see for yourself that they are healthy, tasty and satisfying!
Ingredients :
2 cans of canned beans in their own juice or 800 grams of boiled
5-6 walnut kernels (can be replaced with bread crumbs from two slices of black bread)
2 onions
1 clove of garlic
salt
pepper

breadcrumbs
1 tbsp. l. with a heap of starch
1 tbsp. l. semolina
How to cook:
1. If nuts are used, they need to be chopped or ground in a blender. Just grate the bread or mince it.
2. Peel the onions, chop into cubes and fry in vegetable oil. This is not necessary, it is also delicious with raw, but the sautéed onion gives the cutlets a special flavor.
3. Grate the garlic or pass through a press.
4. Turn the canned beans together with the liquid into mashed potatoes. Boiled during grinding must be softened with water in which it was cooked. Little.
Bean puree is easy to make with a potato pusher, blender, or meat grinder. If you are making mashed potatoes with a blender, then it is better to mix the beans immediately with the onions.
5. Combine beans, onions, garlic, bread, or nuts in a bowl. Add herbs as desired. Season with salt and pepper.
Knead the minced meat. Pour starch and semolina into it. Stir again and leave for 10-15 minutes to swell the semolina.
6. Form small cutlets from the minced beans, breaded in breadcrumbs.
7. Fry lean cutlets in vegetable oil for 3-5 minutes on each side.
Put the finished cutlets on a paper towel so that excess oil is absorbed.
Delicious with boiled potatoes, rice, buckwheat, pasta, any sauce or fresh vegetables.
Important! Beans are very satisfying, so do not overload dishes from them with a complex gravy or side dish. Simple additions are tastier and healthier. Especially in the post.
