Mashed potatoes in a way brought from a German village

Hello, dear readers of the "Cooking with Natalia Kalnina" channel! I greet my regular guests, as well as all those who came to see me for the first time!

Today I want to share a recipe for mashed potatoes called "The most delicious mashed potatoes", here the name speaks for itself. I learned about this recipe quite recently, when I went to visit my friends in the German village of Azovo, which is located not far from Omsk. We really liked the puree and now I cook it like that for a change at the sowing house.

***************************

Recipe:

peeled potatoes -1kg

salt -1 tsp

butter -50g

vegetable oil -30g

bay leaf -2-3pcs

allspice peas -5-6pcs

seasoning for potatoes -1 / 2-1 tsp.

water -500ml

COOKING METHOD

And so we proceed to peel the potatoes, the weight of the peeled potatoes is 1 kg. Now cut the potatoes into cubes.

We take a saucepan, it is best suited with a non-stick coating, put 50 grams of butter on the bottom and pour in a little vegetable 30 grams.

As the oil warms up, put the potatoes, add the seasoning for the potatoes, and 1 tsp salt.

We fry the potatoes, stirring constantly so that nothing burns. I fry until the potatoes begin to brown slightly. In time, it takes me 7-10 minutes. Add bay leaves and allspice peas.

Now fill with water so that the potatoes disappear into the water. Cook the potatoes until tender.
As the potatoes are ready, drain the liquid and turn them into mashed potatoes with the help of a potato grinder.

Pour in the liquid in which the potatoes were cooked and adjust the density. Mashed potatoes are ready, serve with fish or meat.
It really tastes unusual, I recommend cooking.
