How to cook

Anyone can cook potatoes this way. We usually use last year's. But young potatoes will work too!

I peel the potatoes and cut them into slices (about 1-1.5 cm thick). I also cut the bacon into small pieces. Lard can be taken both fresh and salted. You can even use smoked. It will turn out delicious in any case!

I string potatoes and bacon on skewers. Like this:

To bake the potatoes well, I wrap each skewer in foil. Sprinkle with black pepper and salt. If the lard is salty, salt is not necessary.

I spread the kebabs on the grill. I cook for about 30 minutes, periodically turn so that the potatoes are evenly baked.

After half an hour, I remove the foil and put the kebabs on the grill again. I cook for a few more minutes. Here to taste. You can brown a little more or not too much.
