I waited all week to make Honey cake on the weekend, something so wanted! I don't like messing around with cakes, so I found a very quick recipe on the Internet and cooked it, it took about 35 minutes.

So, the first thing to do is put a saucepan and a frying pan with butter, honey and sugar over medium heat.

I make the "Medovik" cake in 35 minutes (no need to unroll the cakes)

After the butter melted and all the ingredients combined, I added soda, a reaction immediately started, so you can't leave the pan unattended for a second, stir all the time.

Then, when the mass settles a little and cools down, add 4 eggs one by one and gently stir in.

Now it's the turn to add flour, preferably in two steps so that the dough turns out to be soft and homogeneous.

The dough should be of the same consistency as in the photo:

There is only one thing left to do: distribute the dough on two baking sheets covered with baking paper, and bake in the oven at 170 degrees for about 10-13 minutes each.

It turns out here is such a ruddy and very soft, fragrant cake:

I divide each cake into two parts and cut off the edges, from which the crumb will be made for decoration.

For the cream, I took fat sour cream, put it in a sieve with gauze in advance, put a load on top so that the excess liquid would go away. So the sour cream stood for almost a day, it became thick, ideal for cream.

I add sugar to sour cream and beat a little with a mixer. Now I smear each cake with the resulting cream.

I chopped the trimmed edges into crumbs using a blender.

And this is how the cake looked before I decorated it with the resulting crumb:

4 tablespoons honey
150 grams of sugar
300 grams of butter
4 eggs
400 grams of flour
2 teaspoons of baking soda
600-700 ml sour cream + 100 grams of sugar
