In the fruit season, try this lazy apple and pear jam. Lazy, because it is very easy to prepare. In addition, very little of your participation in the cooking process is required. Unless prepare the fruits and put the finished jam in jars.
This jam turns out to be aromatic, tasty and very thick. It is ideal for filling patties!

Ingredients:
- apples - 1.5 kg
- pears - 1.5 kg
- lemon (juice) - 1 pc.
- sugar - 200 g
Step by step recipe
1. First, let's prepare the fruit. We take 1.5 kg of pears, wash them and cut them into quarters.
In pears, we cut out the seed box with a tail.
Cut each quarter of the pear into 2-3 slices again.
2. Likewise, take 1.5 kg of washed apples and cut them into quarters. In apples, we also cut out the middle with seeds. Cut the prepared apples into small slices.
3. Pour the prepared apples and pears onto a large baking sheet from the oven. Distribute them evenly on the baking sheet.
4. We take a lemon and roll it on the table, pressing it with our palm, so that the juice is squeezed out of it more easily. Cut the lemon in half and pour the lemon juice over the fruit through a strainer.
5. Pour 200 g of sugar on top of the fruit. You can add less or more sugar depending on the sweetness of the fruit and your preference.
We put everything in the oven preheated to 200 degrees and bake for 30 minutes.
6. After 30 minutes, open the oven and mix everything gently. Put the baking sheet in the oven again and simmer the fruit at the same temperature for another 30-40 minutes.
7. We take out the finished fruits from the oven and immediately put them hot in sterilized jars. We fill the jars well with fruit to the very top, then they will settle a little. Fruits can be simmered for less or longer, depending on the variety and juiciness of apples and pears. We roll up everything with sterilized lids.
From this amount of ingredients, I got four 450 ml jars of jam.
