You've probably noticed - I rarely write about baked goods, especially sweet ones. I confess, I am a sinner - the relationship with the test is very difficult. for me, for the most part, it doesn’t come out exactly as it should be. Well, the general appearance of pies, pies and buns does not quite deserve photographs.
From all ears, but for good I envy those masters and craftswomen who are able to stick products that are ideal in shape and size, and very neatly and in such a way that you want to photograph. This does not work out for me, and I do not have enough patience.
Therefore, if I undertake something myself, it will be a product... massive. One that is limited by the shape, and you can simply cut it with a raft - and everything looks delicious. And also, it is desirable that there is not a lot of fiddling with the dough. Because an assistant grows at home, who, as soon as she sees the flour, starts work immediately. And then you have to wash the whole kitchen.
So today the recipe for apple pie is very quick and simple, which, nevertheless, turns out to be very tasty.
To some, it resembles a recipe for a biscuit with apples, which for some reason in our country is called charlotte. But this dough has differences - it uses milk, therefore, as a result, the cake turns out to be much softer and juicier.
We take:
- About a kilogram of apples;
- 6 level tablespoons of butter;
- 150 grams of flour and sugar;
- 3 eggs;
- 250 milliliters of milk;
- A packet of vanilla sugar;
- A little baking powder (we calculate according to the manufacturer's recommendations for the volume of flour - glee is half a packet, about a third);
- A spoonful of ground cinnamon;
- Almond or almond petals.
How we cook:
One spoonful of butter will take us to grease the mold. From the rest of the butter, flour, sugar, eggs and milk, knead the batter, add baking powder and vanilla to it.
Peel and core the apples, cut them into thin slices, put them in a greased dish, sprinkle with cinnamon and fill with dough.
We send it to the oven, preheated to about 160-170 degrees for forty to forty-five minutes.
Sprinkle with almond petals at the very end.
But you can serve such a cake with whipped cream, sweetened sour cream, or even ice cream or some kind of cream.
