But it turns out there is another way to make crispy brushwood, it turns out to be incredibly tasty despite the fact that not a single gram of sugar is added to the dough and melts in the mouth.
So, in order to knead a good dough for brushwood, you need flour, 8 flat tablespoons, salt and egg yolks. Yes, the dough is kneaded only on the yolks.
You should get a fairly tight dough, almost like dough on dumplings. Next, you need to let the dough rest for about 10 minutes.
The dough should be rolled out into a very thin layer 2 ml thick and cut into cavities and then into diamonds. Make a small notch in the center of each diamond and turn one side out through the hole.
Next, fry the resulting blanks in vegetable oil until golden brown. While the brush is still hot, sprinkle it with powdered sugar.
