βœ…πŸ‘Œ It's time for summer seasonal vegetables! And the first and most common vegetable in the preparation of various dishes is a young zucchini.

In our family, this vegetable is very popular, I cook casseroles and salads from it, I just fry or bake it.

Today I want to invite you to cook delicious meatballs with the addition of grated zucchini.

✨ They are juicy and soft even without adding bread or semolina. Try it - it's really delicious! πŸ₯°

πŸ“•To make meatballs you will need: πŸ₯™

Minced meat (any that you like or usually use) - 700-800 g
Young zucchini - 200 g
Rice (dry) - 100 g
Onions - 1 medium head
Salt - 1 part tsp. l. (taste)
Ground black pepper - 1-2 pinches (to taste)
Wheat flour - 2-3 tbsp. l. (for breading)
Unscented sunflower oil - for frying
Sour cream (15-20% fat) - 200 g
Water - 100-120 ml

The first step is to rinse the rice. We change the water until it becomes completely transparent. Then we shift the cereal into a saucepan, fill it with a double volume of water and set it to cook. We continue to cook after boiling for 10-12 minutes. Then turn off the heat, cover the rice with a lid and let it reach the desired condition.

In the meantime, take a bowl and put the minced meat in it. Three zucchini on a medium or coarse grater and add it to the minced meat.

Peel the onion and chop it with a blender or grater. We add it to the total container.

Now we send boiled rice here. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. You can also add some of your favorite spices, finely chopped fresh herbs, etc.

We knead everything thoroughly with our hands. I don't add eggs to meatballs. But if you come across too dry minced meat, you can put 1-2 tablespoons of sour cream, taking it from the total. Egg white makes the minced meat harder, so I try not to add it to cutlets and meatballs.

We form small meatballs from the resulting minced meat. They can be made in the form of traditional balls or slightly flattened with your hands - this will make them easier to fry. Dip each piece in flour on both sides, shake off the excess.

Pour vegetable oil into a frying pan, heat up and spread the meatballs. Fry over high heat for 1-2 minutes, until golden brown.

Then turn over and fry the other side in the same way.

Transfer the toasted meatballs to any suitable baking dish.

And we proceed to the preparation of the filling. To do this, put sour cream in a deep bowl, add salt, pepper and other spices to taste and desire.

Pour in water and stir until the lumps dissolve. The sauce is ready!

Fill the meatballs with sour cream filling and put in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 20-25 minutes. During the baking process, you can pour the gravy on the bottom of the dish over the dish.

We take out the finished meatballs. They turn out to be very juicy and ruddy. You can serve potatoes or pasta as a side dish. Also delicious with fresh vegetables and herbs.
