Everyone dreams of going to the sea on their long-awaited vacation. We are lucky, we live by the very blue Black Sea almost all summer every year. This means that we are no longer tourists or vacationers. We are summer residents. And we want to eat not in canteens and cafes, but at home, sitting in our own courtyard under the vine.
Therefore, for groceries we go to the markets farthest from the beach or to budget chain stores like Pud.
Yesterday we just arrived and immediately ran to stock up to fill the refrigerator and kitchen cabinets.
Here is yesterday's hike to Pud and our check of what we bought and for what.
The prices are not as terrible as everyone on the mainland "draws" them. I would not say that they are somehow frightening, rather they surprise, since a lot is even cheaper than our Magnet or Pyaterochka.
For example, here:
Sugar for 46 rubles, and vegetable oil for 109 rubles. It is quite adequate and cheap.
We're actually at the resort now. In Evpatoria, where after the flood in Yalta everyone rushed and the city is simply teeming with vacationers.
Even the price tag for potatoes was expecting to see a different one, since at home they bought potatoes at 69 or even 80 rubles per kg, and here ...
And look at the prices for minced meat, cheese slices and tea. Have you noticed how "expensive"? Here I am.
And right at the exit from the store they bought cherries from grandfather, he says he collected in his garden. We agreed at 80 rubles per kg, took about 5 kg, I will cook jam or compote.
Large! Sweet! Saturated with the Crimean sun!
Here it is:
Today, before lunchtime, you need to have time to go to the Kolkhoz market for tomatoes and fruits. Maybe I'll buy some more corn and drums.
And tomorrow we will drive to Dobrocen - an analogue of our Traffic Light.
Good luck to you! And the sun!
