This summer I got hooked on cucumber salads, cooked different options and I can't even understand which salad I like the most. Today I bring to your attention a recipe for Turkish cucumber salad.
It looks like a common salad, but in reality it is not, just a few additives make it unique, it turns out very tasty and healthy.
I have homemade greenhouse cucumbers, I cut them into slices. I prefer to cut red onions with similar salads with feathers, so the salad looks more interesting and attractive. Next, we are engaged in greenery.
What makes this salad special is mint, it transforms the taste of the salad and makes it brighter and fresher. Only a few leaves are needed, I cut them finely enough, like dill.
I definitely add lettuce leaves even though it is not present in the original recipe. I wash the leaves well and cut them into small strips. Be sure to add a few cloves of garlic to this salad, issue through a press or grate on a fine grater.
Garlic will add spice and an additional note to the salad flavor. For dressing, I use sour cream with the addition of olive oil, you can use yogurt.
I mix everything and serve.
Ingredients:
- Cucumbers 4 pcs
- Red onion 1 pc
- Mint, dill, salad leaves
- Sour cream or yogurt for dressing
- Olive oil 1-2 tablespoons
- Garlic 2-3 cloves
- Salt to taste
