Curd rolls with raisins are delicious homemade cakes for tea. They are prepared very quickly and easily. You don't even have to knead the dough.
For these curd rolls, I use ready-made frozen puff pastry. All that remains is to prepare the filling and shape the rolls, and the oven will do the rest for you. Even a novice hostess can prepare such a simple dessert for tea!

These rolls turn out to be rosy and appetizing in appearance. And of course they are delicious. Crispy puff pastry and sweet curd filling with raisins are, in my opinion, always a win-win. These rolls can be made for homemade tea every day! They are also suitable for breakfast, snack or afternoon tea. Children also love them!

Ingredients:

  • puff pastry - 500 g
  • cottage cheese - 400 g
  • raisins - 100 g
  • eggs - 2 pcs.
  • sour cream - 3 tbsp. l.
  • sugar - 100 g
  • vanilla sugar - 8 g
  • poppy - 1 tsp l.

Step by step recipe

1. First, let's prepare the filling. Pour 400 g of cottage cheese into a bowl. It is better to use cottage cheese dry.


Here we add 100 g of sugar, 8 g of vanilla sugar, 3 tbsp. sour cream and one egg. We mix everything. If the cottage cheese, like mine, is coarse, then it is advisable to chop it. I do this with a hand blender.

2. Wash 100 g of raisins and pour boiling water for 5 minutes.

3. Add the prepared raisins to the ready-made curd mass. We mix everything.

4. Roll out a sheet of ready-made puff yeast-free dough a little. We need 2 sheets of dough, 250 g each.

5. Put half of the filling on the rolled dough and distribute it evenly.
Roll the dough with the filling into a roll. We make the second roll in the same way.

6. Cut the prepared rolls into small rolls. We transfer the rolls to a baking sheet covered with parchment paper.

7. Beat one egg with a fork in a separate bowl. Grease the rolls with a beaten egg and sprinkle with poppy seeds on top.

8. We put in a preheated oven up to 200 degrees. We bake for about 30 minutes.

Puff pastry rolls with cottage cheese and raisins turned out to be tender, mouth-watering and very tasty. Be sure to cook them, especially since they are prepared quickly and very simply.
