And let's, though it's hot, indulge in summer cakes. With a spicy vegetable filling and lots of cheese making these pies look like pizza?
Quiche with bell pepper is an easy, interesting and, in principle, hearty pie that can be used as a snack, or you can - and for lunch or dinner - give homemade ones - and that's enough with them.
Cooking it, by the way, is very simple. And you can make it small - in portioned molds, or you can make it large.
So, we take:
For the test
- 225 BC flour;
- 100 g oils;
- 1 egg;
- 1 tablespoon of ice cold mineral water;
- 1 teaspoon of salt.
For filling:
- 500-600 grams of bell pepper;
- 150 grams of mild onions;
- 200 grams of hard cheese (you will need to grate it);
- 100 grams of soft cream cheese like "Philadelphia";
- A tablespoon of tomato paste;
- 2 eggs;
- Salt and pepper to taste.
How we cook:
Knead shortbread dough from flour, butter, eggs, salt and mineral water. Better - in a food processor on a pulse mode, with short presses, so as not to interrupt it and not make it pulling and gray, but if there is no food processor - with your hands, with periodic cooling.
When the dough is ready, wrap it in foil and send it to the refrigerator.
Pepper, cut into small squares. Peel the onion, cut it into small cubes. Fry in a skillet for 15-20 minutes - so that the vegetables are almost ready, but not completely. Let them cool down.
Further - rolls out the dough in shape, lay it, pricked with a fork in several places. Mix vegetables with grated hard cheese, whipped raw eggs, soft creamy, tomato paste, salt and pepper and spread with the filling.
We bake for 30-40 minutes at a temperature of 180 degrees.
