I spied on this method of cooking in some culinary show, there is nothing special in it, but so few people cook. I cook like that when I need to quickly "figure it out on the table." It turns out very tasty, fast and not expensive.
You can cook absolutely any fish this way, I have a telapia today. I bought the fillet right away, so as not to waste time cleaning it. I washed the fish, dried it and seasoned it with some spices for the fish and left it while I was making the sauce.
The sauce only needs two ingredients. I cut the onion and fry in vegetable oil until fully cooked, do not bring it to a golden color. It is important that the onion is perfectly cooked and does not crunch on the teeth, because the second ingredient is tomatoes.
I cut the tomatoes into two parts and grate the pulp, so the skin remains in the hands.
I send the resulting pulp to the onion and bring the sauce to a boil, do not add water. But salt and black pepper are a must.
After the sauce boils, I immerse the fish in it, salt a little again and cover with a lid and leave for 15 minutes.
After 15 minutes, you get a delicious and very tender fish. Tomato greatly transforms the taste of fish and makes it "more expensive". Be sure to try to cook fish in this way, I'm sure many will appreciate it.
