These boat pies are perfect for a snack for the whole family or just for tea. They can also be served on the festive table, they also do not stay there for a long time.

These simple patties are quick and easy to prepare. The dough is kneaded very quickly, without yeast and is surprisingly pleasant to work with. In the recipe, I gave two options for savory filling. You can choose the one you like best. Or you can put any filling you like - savory or sweet.

Ingredients:

Dough:

  • flour - 500 g
  • kefir - 250 ml
  • butter - 125 g
  • vegetable oil - 70 ml
  • egg - 1 pc.
  • baking powder - 10 g
  • salt - 1 tsp l.

Filling No. 1

  • pepper - 1 pc.
  • feta - 100 g
  • parsley - bunch

Filling No. 2

  • sausage - 100 g
  • cheese - 100 g

Step by step recipe

1. First, let's prepare the dough.
Put 125 g of softened butter in a bowl, pour 70 ml of vegetable oil and add 1 tsp. salt. We mix everything.

2. We also add the protein of one egg to this, we will need the yolk later. Pour 250 ml of kefir. We mix.

3. Pour about 0.5 kg of flour and 10 g of baking powder into this mass. Mix everything first with a spoon, and then with your hands. You may need a little less or more flour. It all depends on the type of flour. The dough should be soft and pliable.
Cover the finished dough with a lid and set to rest at room temperature for 15 minutes.

4. While the dough is resting, prepare the filling.
For the first version of the filling.
First cut 1 pepper into strips, and then cut the strips into cubes.
Chop a bunch of parsley with a knife.
Cut 100 g feta cheese into cubes.

5. Pour chopped peppers, feta and parsley into a bowl. Mix everything, the filling is ready.

6. We are preparing the second version of the filling.
Cut 100 g of sausage into small cubes.
Three 100 g of cheese on a coarse grater.

7. Cooking pies.
We take the dough and give it an oblong shape. Divide the dough into 12 approximately equal parts.

8. Roll each piece into a ball. We put it on the table and form a cake out of it. Put the filling with feta and pepper on the resulting cake.

9. We glue the cake first on one side, and then on the other in such a way that we get a boat.
This is how we prepare all the pies.

10. Put grated cheese on the second half of the pies and put the sliced ​​sausage on top.
In the same way, we make a boat by gluing the cake on both sides.

11. Put the prepared pies on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper.
We take the remaining yolk, stir it a little with 1 tablespoon of milk or water. Grease all the pies with the prepared yolk.

12. Sprinkle sesame seeds on top of the pies.
We put everything in the oven preheated to 180 degrees. Bake for about 30-35 minutes.

The open pies turned out to be soft and ruddy. Each filling is delicious in its own way. Such pies are prepared quickly and easily. And for their preparation, only the most affordable products are needed. The pies according to this recipe remain soft even the next day. Be sure to cook them, they are delicious.
