Four things I think shouldn't be in the kitchen

Admin

You can throw slippers at me and call me a snob, but there are things that should not be in the kitchen by default.

They "kill" food and make a nasty impression. They discourage appetite completely, causing exceptionally disgust, forgive me.

And it's not customary to talk about it, which is the funniest thing. You say - they will call you a boor, by all means, or even worse. And, of course, they will be offended.

I have such things - there are not many faddles.

Rags

Rags from all sorts of handy, worn out by yours. No, I understand everything, the economy should be economical, and that a kitchen towel or a rag is all made of fabric. And rags, just like towels, can be sent to the wash every day, but... These are rags, ladies and gentlemen!

Is it really nice to use an old underwear while cooking or cleaning the kitchen? I remember him, because underwear, according to many defenders of these devices, is best suited for a rag role. The fabric is soft, absorbs well ...

As I was once told: from time immemorial they did this, and no one complained.

But isn't it better when there are beautiful sponges on the sink, elegant towels on hooks, napkins for hands, albeit fabric ones?

I don’t know about you, but my rags are always associated with some kind of hopelessness and disregard for everyday life.

Dirty potholders

Salted and seared in places. You look at them and think: you bought them, that is, it really mattered to people how their kitchen and equipment looked. And then they turned it into something that is disgusting to take into your hands.

And everything seems to be clean and beautiful everywhere, and the kitchen set costs half a million, but the potholders with rags are striking and you just think how to kick back from the treat while they show you the set ...

Carbon deposits on dishes

Thick, sometimes peeled off in places, left in places. On enameled or any other dishes, on which there should be no carbon deposits at all. On a teapot, for example.

It is understandable, if you do not use an electric kettle, then the usual one is always on the stove, splashes of fat fall on it, so a crust forms.

However, you can clean it normally! Or wash millet once a day. Is it really not disgusting for the owners themselves??? And it's not just teapots that suffer. There is such an unpleasant, sticky coating in kitchens... From this opera!

"Kicked" cutting boards

This little fad of mine can, perhaps, be put almost in the first place, because cutting boards are classified under the category of "hygiene-hygiene". They come into direct contact with products, and when they are old (especially wooden), it is simply impossible to wash and disinfect their already damaged surface.

Yes, and with plastic boards the same story - covered with microscopic jags, they begin to hold food particles and also smells, which, mixing, give a very nasty bouquet.

As for me (absolute IMHO), all these "fads" relate to commonplace hygiene, and in the kitchen cleanliness is the main thing, albeit not sterile.

Such things are especially striking when the kitchen is luxurious, borrowed on credit for ten years ...
