If you want to surprise your guests with a delicious, hearty salad, then prepare this one. It's called "Brushwood" because it contains crispy potatoes. This makes the salad very interesting, guests always try it very first and eat it very first)))

Ingredients for the salad:

Potato
Chicken (breast)
Cucumbers
Tomatoes
Mayonnaise
Salt
Garlic
Vegetable oil

Preparation:

Grate 1-2 potatoes on a coarse grater, then fill with cold water for 15 minutes. If time is short, then you can simply rinse in cold water. Then put the potatoes in a colander, put them on a towel and blot them.

Fry the potatoes in a large amount of vegetable oil (as in deep fat) until golden brown.

IMPORTANT: I tell you how to fry. Heat the oil very much, lower the potatoes, mix. The potatoes will be ready in about 30 seconds, so do not leave the stove, otherwise everything will burn out.

Put the finished fried potatoes on paper towels so that the oil is absorbed.

Now we need one chicken breast. You can bake it in the oven with salt and spices, just boil it or buy smoked in the store. In general, any will do. Cut the breast into cubes.

Cut one fresh cucumber into cubes or strips, cut one tomato (squeeze a little and drain the juice). Grate 100 grams of cheese.

Mix mayonnaise with 1-2 minced garlic cloves. And now we collect the salad, since it is flaky.

1 layer - fried potatoes

2nd layer - chicken breast, a little mayonnaise

3 layer - cucumbers

4th layer - tomatoes

5 layer - cheese, mayonnaise

6 layer - the remaining potatoes

Decorate the top with a sprig of greens or you can make a edging of fresh cucumber, as in the photo.

A little tip: despite the fact that the salad is flaky, it does not need to be given time to soak, since the cucumber and tomato are so juicy. We serve it immediately on the table.
