No yeast needed. It's all about kefir, whose term is already ending. Try this method and this little trick.
Ingredients:
- 300 ml of kefir
- 1 hour l. soda
- 1 tbsp. l. Sahara
- a pinch of salt
- 1.5 cups flour (200 ml glass)
- vegetable oil for frying
How to cook:
1. Mix kefir with soda. It is better to get it out of the refrigerator in advance, so that everything will surely work out. Mix well! Foam should appear.
2. Then add sugar and salt, mix again.
Important! Sugar is added to the dough strictly according to the recipe. In no case do you need "a little more" sugar, otherwise fluffy pancakes will not work and will stick to the pan.
3. Add flour gradually, in spoons or handfuls, stirring constantly. The finished dough should be very thick.
Another important point is that this dough should not be dealt with for a long time, that is, beat it diligently, especially with a mixer or blender. This is unnecessary, it is enough to knead so that there are no lumps.
4. Let the dough stand for 5-7 minutes and start baking the pancakes.
5. Heat a well-bottomed skillet (cast iron or non-stick). Pour oil on a hot surface and immediately spread the dough with a spoon with a distance of about 1 cm.
6. Bake pancakes until golden brown on both sides, over moderate heat.
7. Put the finished products on paper napkins to remove excess oil.
