In general, this is not a side dish, but a salad. But the salad is a side dish - one that can be served as a side dish to the main meat dish.
It has an interesting spicy taste, and the potatoes in it appear in a form that is unexpected for many (in the sense that the dressing makes it unusual, which is good).
However, this salad can be used as a separate dish, just with meat - it is always tastier (as it seems to me). When tired, and "boiled potatoes, fried potatoes, french fries and potato pie" it's time to remember the rest of the recipes - and their cook of all times Tosya Kislitsina did not list everything.
Well, okay, we take for our side dish salad:
- 500 grams of potatoes
- 250 grams of green beans (frozen)
For refueling:
- 50 grams of olive oil
- 1 chili pepper
- 1 clove of garlic
- 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon of cumin seeds
- Half a bunch of cilantro
- Half a bunch of mint
- Black pepper and salt to taste
How we cook:
Everything is simple here. Boil potatoes in uniforms, peel, cut into halves or quarters - depending on the size
Boil the green beans until aldente.
We mix potatoes and beans, and now we make a dressing: peel the chili pepper from seeds and partitions and chop into small pieces. Finely chop the cilantro and mint greens. We mix all this with oil, wine vinegar, crushed garlic, caraway seeds, salt and pepper in a jar and shake it well, closing the lid - this is how the dressing turns out to be better whipped.
Water the salad just before eating.
Bon Appetit!
