This apple caramel can be eaten simply as a dessert. Wonderful Apple Caramel
To make caramel, I need applesauce from any apples.
On the stove, I heat a stewpan with a thick bottom and pour 100 g of sugar onto a warm surface.
I melt it to a caramel state.
It is better not to interfere with sugar during heating, just shake the saucepan.
Adjust the heat so that the sugar melts evenly.
When the sugar has acquired the desired caramel color, add 40 g of butter.
After it has melted, stirring continuously, I introduce the applesauce. At the end I add a pinch of salt.
If your caramel is liquid, then you can cook for another 3 minutes. It all depends on the consistency you want to get.
This caramel is versatile
- First, it is delicious on its own.
- Secondly, it can be used as an addition to pancakes, pancakes, and also as a caramel sauce.
- Thirdly, this caramel is very good to add to the composition of creams.
- Fourth, caramel can be added to the dough, for example in cupcakes.
You can use any berry or fruit puree instead of applesauce.

100 g sugar
40 g butter
a pinch of salt if desired
