✅👌There is a category of people who belong to "omnivores" - meat, fish, any vegetables to their taste, but there are those who do not particularly like something... I belong precisely to the second category. I do not like bell peppers, but only fresh, and every time I try to find some interesting recipe for how to cook this vegetable as tasty as possible.

Today I want to share with you a recipe for a delicious snack made from baked bell peppers and pickled in a very tasty sweet and sour marinade with garlic and aromatic herbs.

✨A delicious summer snack - colorful and mouth-watering. Try it while the pepper is worth a dime! 🥰

📕 To prepare the dish you will need: 🥙

Sweet peppers - 5-7 pcs. (common Bulgarian)
Odorless vegetable oil - 2-3 tbsp. l. (for frying) + 70 ml (for marinade)
Fresh herbs (cilantro, parsley, onion) - bunch
Fresh garlic - 2-3 cloves
Apple cider, wine vinegar or lemon juice - 1 tbsp l.
Salt - 1/2 tsp l.
Sugar - 1/2 tbsp. l.

Rinse the pepper thoroughly and dry it with paper towels. And on each of them we make frequent punctures with a fork. It is necessary to chop the entire surface so that the peppers bake better and shoot less when frying.

Then pour a little oil into the pan, heat it over medium heat and spread the pepper. Be sure to cover it with a lid, otherwise the spray will be everywhere. Cooking by turning the pods as they roast. It is necessary to bring them only to a light brown crust, although slight charring can be achieved - as you like.

Cool the fried peppers a little under the lid, then clean them from the film. It can be removed easily, like a stocking - you just have to pull it by the edge. Also, be sure to clean out the seed boxes. Cut the pulp of the pepper into not too wide strips.

Now we are preparing the marinade. Mix the remaining oil, vinegar, salt and sugar.

Add finely chopped herbs and garlic. You can take any greens or mix several varieties - it will turn out delicious too.

Mix everything well until the grains of salt and sugar dissolve.

Next, take a deep food container and begin to lay out the appetizer. First, a layer of pepper, generously grease it with marinade.

Repeat the layers until the products are finished. We close and put in the refrigerator to marinate for 2-3 hours, it is possible for a longer time.

During the pickling process, the pepper is saturated with spicy aromas and flavors. The appetizer turns out to be what you need - juicy and piquant. A very good addition to meat, especially kebabs and other dishes cooked over charcoal.
