Another version of the delicious pumpkin pie, originally from America, where they are very fond of such pastries. The pie turns out to be incredibly tasty. It will appeal even to those who do not like pumpkin. Delicate filling of pumpkin with aromas of cinnamon and nutmeg, crunchy sandy base will not leave anyone indifferent. And thanks to the condensed milk, a light caramel note is felt in the filling.
These homemade baked goods smell of autumn and home comfort. It is perfect for a cup of tea to brighten up gloomy autumn weather.
Cooking such a pumpkin pie with condensed milk is not at all difficult and everyone can handle it. And the products are the most common and affordable.
I highly recommend making such a pumpkin pie with condensed milk in pumpkin season, it will definitely not disappoint you!
Ingredients:
Dough:
- flour - 220 g
- sugar - 70 g
- butter - 125 g
- egg - 1 pc.
Filling:
- condensed milk - 1 can (380 g)
- pumpkin - 500 g
- egg - 2 pcs.
- nutmeg - a pinch
- cinnamon - 1/2 tsp l.
- ginger - 1/2 tsp l.
Step by step recipe
1. Cooking pumpkin puree. Cut the peeled pumpkin into pieces and transfer to the mold. Cover with foil and put in the oven, preheated to 200 degrees. We bake the pumpkin for about 40 minutes.
2. While the pumpkin is baking, prepare the dough. Put the oil cut into pieces in the chopper bowl. Pour flour here. If there is no chopper, then this can be done with a knife or hands.
3. Beat the egg and sugar in a separate bowl.
4. Add this mixture to the butter-flour crumb. Stir the dough until it becomes a homogeneous lump.
5. Wrap the finished dough in plastic wrap and put it in the refrigerator for about 1 hour.
6. Grease the baking dish with butter and sprinkle with flour.
7. Roll the cooled dough into a circle. Cover the baking dish with dough and cut off the excess edges.
8. The baked pumpkin is soft. Now it needs to be crushed. I do this with a blender, but you can grind it through a sieve.
9. Add condensed milk, eggs, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg to the grated pumpkin. Mix everything until smooth.
10. Pour the filling into a mold with dough. Roll a flagellum from the scraps of dough.
11. We spread the flagellum along the edge of the pie. Using a fork, give it a stripe pattern.
12. We put the pie in the oven preheated to 200 degrees for 15 minutes. Then lower the temperature to 180 degrees and bake for about 40 minutes more.
The pie turned out to be very tasty, soft and tender. I recommend everyone to cook it.
