Delicious second course for lunch or for a hearty dinner. Chops with potatoes in the oven will definitely please you. The meat turns out to be juicy and tasty, under a ruddy cheese crust, and the potatoes are tender and aromatic.
Such a dish saves the housewives a lot of time, because both meat and a side dish are prepared at the same time. Such a dish can also be served on a festive table, it looks very appetizing.
I used pork for the chops, but you can also use chicken or turkey fillets.
Cook these chops and potatoes in the oven for family dinners and diversify your menu.

Ingredients:

  • potatoes - 1 kg
  • meat - 500 g
  • tomatoes - 4-5 pcs.
  • onions - 2 pcs.
  • cheese - 150 g
  • mayonnaise - 100 g
  • water - 100 ml
  • salt to taste

Step by step recipe

1. First, let's prepare the ingredients.
Cut 0.5 kg of meat across the fibers into pieces about 1 cm thick. I use pork.

2. We beat each piece of meat with a hammer from both sides. Salt the meat. And pepper with black pepper.

3. Cut 2 onions into half rings.
Cut 4-5 medium sized tomatoes into slices.

4. 150 g of cheese three on a coarse grater.

5. Cut 1 kg of already peeled potatoes into smaller pieces.
Put the potatoes in a bowl, salt to taste and pepper. We mix everything.

6. Grease a deep baking sheet from the oven with butter. Put the chops on a baking sheet, leaving a distance between them.

7. Put chopped onion on the meat. Grease the onion with mayonnaise on top. In total, you will need about 100 g of mayonnaise. Put tomato slices on the meat with onions.

8. Put prepared potatoes between the chops.
Sprinkle the chops with grated cheese on top. Pour 0.5 cups of water onto a baking sheet.

9. We put everything in the oven preheated to 180 degrees. We bake for about an hour and a half. I baked for one hour, since my potatoes are young and cook faster.
The dish is ready, you can serve it on the table.

The chops with vegetables in the oven turned out to be very tasty, aromatic and satisfying. This dish is great for lunch or dinner. It also looks good on a festive table.
