✅👌 Our family loves this cake more than pizza. And it's much easier for me to cook it - I defrosted the dough, made the filling in 10 minutes, all that remains is to wait until it is baked.

I always keep a package of puff pastry in the freezer: when you need to quickly bake something, I prepare such a cake

✨ The filling can be changed at your discretion, but the main condition is a large amount of cheese. It tastes better! 🥰

📕To make a cake you will need: 🥙

Puff yeast dough - 250 g
Mushrooms (fresh champignons) - 300-350 g
Onions - 1 pc.
Processed cheese (cream or mushroom) - 100 g
Hard or semi-hard cheese - 150 g
Vegetable oil - for frying
Salt, ground black pepper to taste

👨🏻‍🍳 Let's start cooking... ⤵️⤵️⤵️

First of all, take out the dough from the freezer and put it on a cutting board - let it defrost. For the base of the cake, you will need 1 rectangular layer weighing 200-250 grams. In the meantime, let's get down to preparing the filling, because it must have time to cool down before forming the cake. We clean, rinse and cut the onion into small cubes. Pour some vegetable oil into the pan, heat it up and add the onion. Cook over low heat, stirring occasionally, until golden brown.

In the meantime, the onions are fried, wash and dice the mushrooms.

Then we send them to the browned onions. We keep on fire until all the liquid has evaporated, while not forgetting sometimes to stir the contents of the pan with a spatula.

At the end of the preparation of the mushroom filling, add salt and pepper to taste, sprinkle with grated processed cheese.

Stir and heat for another couple of minutes until the cheese is melted. Let the filling cool.

Slightly roll out the defrosted dough, form the sides. I laid out the base of the pie in a rectangular shape, but you can bake it right on the baking sheet.

And now we put all the prepared filling on the dough.

Rub hard cheese on a coarse grater and distribute it on top of the mushrooms. We bake the cake in an oven preheated to 200 degrees for about 15-20 minutes, until the dough is ready and the top cheese layer melts.

We take out the finished cake from the oven, cool slightly and remove from the mold.

Cut into portions and serve until the cheese is frozen. Very tasty, satisfying, and also simple and fast.
