Remember the anecdote?
- Barrymore, what do we have for breakfast?
- Oatmeal, sir!
- Barrymore, what do we have for lunch?
- Oatmeal soup, sir!
- Barrymore, what do we have for dinner?
-Cutlets ...
-Hooray!
- From porridge, sir!
That's the way it is now with chicken. It is inexpensive and quick to prepare, therefore it is the most frequent guest on the tables. Perhaps even more often than pork and, moreover, more often than fish.
Therefore, seeing a chicken, the pets frown:
-She again!
And they complain that they are tired of the worse bitter radish.
If so, I suggest a chicken (or rather, its breast), honey and broccoli. You can cook rice for a side dish.
We take:
400 grams of chicken breast
400 grams of broccoli
2 tablespoons soy sauce
A piece of ginger - about a couple of centimeters
A couple of cloves of garlic
150-200 ml of vegetable broth (you can cheat - 150 ml of water and a teaspoon of seasoning like "ten vegetables")
2 tablespoons honey
A spoonful of starch (or flour)
Sesame (to taste)
Frying oil, salt-pepper to taste, and you can also use either Sambal Olek or Kochuzhan - it certainly won't be worse, only tastier. The main thing is to add them very co-operatively - otherwise you will have a fire in your mouth.
How we cook:
Cut the breast into strips, mix with spices, grated ginger and soy sauce, send it to the refrigerator for a couple of hours - marinate.
Then we take out the meat, mix it with starch and send it to a well-heated frying pan - to give it. Ideally, use a wok, but if there is no wok, then the pan will do.
When the chicken is browned, put it on a plate.
Chop the garlic, add a little more oil, if you don't have enough of it in the pan, heat it and send the garlic there. Fry for about a minute, pour in the broth. We add honey, and when we have it all boiling, we send meat and broccoli to the pan. It would be better, of course, fresh - then five minutes and you're done. If you have frozen broccoli, then decide for yourself - first quickly boil or simmer to the end without boiling.
When the dish is ready, sprinkle with sesame seeds, mix and - on a plate!
Bon Appetit!
