I’m ashamed to admit, but I found this recipe corny in some culinary publication. It was not passed down with trepidation and under great secrecy from generation to generation. They did not take an oath from me to keep this family recipe more alive on the day of majority. Therefore, I cannot even write the correct title - they say, I hid it for so many years, and now I am sharing it with you, dear readers.
The fact that I can't write a headline like this is saddening. I was recommended to make the headlines more catchy and attractive, but somehow it doesn't work out ...
However, maybe without a title, garlic beef will please someone? It is easy to cook, but the taste is interesting, and the meat is quite soft.
We take:
- Directly the beef itself - five hundred grams
- Garlic - 4-5 cloves
- Brown sugar (white sugar is also possible, we will not tell anyone about this) - 1 teaspoon
- Soy sauce - 3 tablespoons
- Rice (or apple cider) vinegar - 2 tablespoons
- Well, vegetable oils for frying
How we cook:
Cut the beef into thin cubes - one might say, like beef stroganoff.
Combine soy sauce, sugar, rice vinegar, crushed or minced garlic. We send the chopped meat there and leave it to marinate - for an hour, or maybe two.
Then we take out the meat, let it drain from the liquid (ideally it would be dried, but the marinade is a pity!) And send it to a frying pan with well-heated oil.
Fry until golden brown, add the marinade and simmer a little under the lid. It is not necessary to cook for a long time - the pieces are small, they will warm up quickly.
You can serve it even with rice, even with mashed potatoes, even with bulgur (well, or whatever your imagination tells you).
Bon Appetit!
