What they paid for, they got it. Fair food price injustice

Let's discuss the high cost of products today?

It is good and profitable to arrange holivars on this matter - not a single recipe is read or commented on with such enthusiasm (well, except that “I put a hidden camera in the kitchen and saw my mother-in-law cooking, I share with you, this shock").

But I'm not for the sake of holivar, but for the sake of preserving justice, so to speak, I will say: Russia is in fact, it has caught up with the countries of the same Eastern Europe in terms of food prices in one high-quality categories.

If you look closely at the shelves, both ours and “they” can find cheese for a couple of euros. We may even have some kind of Gouda. Or even Edam. "Red Price". It is impossible to eat it, I agree. And I even agree that cheese simply cannot be really good for that kind of money - the manufacturer will go out of his way to make production as cheap as possible, and this will affect the taste.

But here's the trick... if you buy cheese of the same price category abroad, it will be the same... inedible. Market law. A very cheap product cannot be tasty.

The same will happen with wine - wine for two or three euros can be bought both from us and from them, and you can also drink it. It will just taste... Well, let's just say it's not worth bending a show that they have wine there for a couple of euros "divine nectar", unlike ours. It is the same as we will have. Because two or three euros - they are two or three euros there, no one will bother too much for such a price.

Yes, there are exceptions. For example, rice in Asia is delicious, fragrant, perfect... It is cheaper there than rice of a similar quality in our stores (and it is not a fact that we will find rice of the same quality). Well, or fruits and vegetables (those that we have imported).

The only but. If in terms of prices we, nevertheless, some countries of the world community have caught up, then in terms of salaries - no. And yes, with our salaries, only economy-class products become available to many - the cheapest, tasteless, quality that leaves much to be desired.

But if a person is told that he does the job poorly, he will immediately refer to his salary - they say, what do you want from me for that kind of money! And when it comes to goods - it does not matter, food, clothes, but about anything - then everyone wants everything at once cheaper, and to better quality. Here the phrase "what do you want for your money" - already outrages everyone.

Moreover, abroad, as you know, the grass is greener, the sky is bluer, oysters are cheaper, and every poor man eats pasta with truffles. Masha's aunts drove. And Uncle Vanya. And everyone saw. And they even give a tooth that everything is so - château lafite for 2 euros, parmesan in the load - just take it.

Shl. Just in case, I will briefly explain what I wrote about:

1. Products in Russia, in the countries of the former socialist camp, and even in some other European countries, cost almost the same - in their price category. That is, that our cheese for two euros (in terms of) is inedible - that it is ugly there. There is no delicious food for minimal money - nowhere else.

2. It is possible to be outraged by the “wrong” taste of cheap products or the fact that they are not entirely natural, or something else, but it’s logical to get in response “what do you want for that kind of money”.

3. And no, I do not consider the ratio of prices and incomes to be normal for the average citizen in our country.
