I have been preparing yogurt like this for many years and I don't want to change anything in the recipe. At times cheaper and tastier than from the store! In my cookbook, this yogurt recipe comes first.

✅ Do you like yogurt? Then prepare it yourself easily at home. No yogurt maker or special equipment is needed. It only takes 10 minutes of your time. This is one of the easiest recipes. It’s even easier - I don’t know: I mixed it and forgot it.

Also, this yoghurt is made from good products and tastes divine. It's hard to find that in a store. By the way, good yogurt from the store costs a lot of money, don't you agree?! Moreover, they "cram" all sorts of flavors there, and what is more incomprehensible.

My husband is ready to eat such yogurt in cans, without exaggeration.

Let's cook already!

You can cook yogurt right away in a saucepan (if you need a lot). I usually make 2 liters of milk or 1 liter. Today I will show you a recipe with 1 liter of milk.

📢 It is better to take milk from 3.2% fat and always have a short shelf life. It is important! The shorter the shelf life of milk, the more chances it will be natural and yoghurt will definitely come out. Homemade milk is ideal. BUT, with milk from the store, excellent yoghurt comes out too.

I heat the milk to 40 degrees so that it is barely warm.

Now you need to add the leaven, there are 3 options:

1). Buy a special yoghurt starter in a sachet. This is exactly what I do. I bought it once, then I ferment the next batch of yogurt with the remains of the previous batch.

2). Buy natural yogurt (delicious) and ferment milk with it.

3). Ferment the milk with yogurt from the previous preparation.

I pour out a sachet of starter culture (this sachet is usually calculated from one to three liters of milk). I stir it.

If you use yogurt as a starter culture, add 100 gr. To 1 liter of milk. yogurt. This is more than enough.

If I cook in a saucepan, I immediately mix everything there. I close the pan with a lid. I wrap it in several towels and put it to the radiator. I forget for the night. In the morning, the yogurt is ready. Add any fillers you like.

I have special jars for yogurt, I can cook in them right away. Optionally, sometimes I add fillers right away. Usually these are dried fruits, nuts, seeds, a mixture of cereals. I immediately put the filler in the cans.

Then I pour in warm milk with sourdough, close the lids.

And I also wrap it with towels and to the radiator.

If it's summer, then it's warm in the house, yogurt is fermented just on the table (but I also wrap it in towels). If it's off-season, then slightly preheat the oven, turn it off and put the pan with yogurt there. Everything.
