I really love the classic breaded cutlets, fried in vegetable oil until golden crispy. It's delicious, but not very healthy. Therefore, most often I cook cutlets according to "lighter" recipes with the addition of vegetables and other usefulness.
In this article, I have collected three options for making very tasty cutlets, I am sure that everyone will find a recipe for themselves that they want to cook.
Oven cutlets with added liver
Ingredients:
- Minced meat 500 grams
- Chicken liver 200 grams
- Onion 2 pieces
- Handful of rice
- Tomato paste 1 tablespoon
- Salt and spices to taste
How to cook: Pass the meat, liver and onions through a meat grinder. Add slightly boiled rice, salt and spices to the resulting minced meat, mix everything well. Form cutlets and place in a baking dish and send to an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 30 minutes. Fry the second onion until tender, add tomato paste and water. Pour the cutlets with the resulting sauce and send them back to the oven for another 30 minutes.
Cutlets on a vegetable cushion
Ingredients:
- Minced meat 400-500 grams
- Onion 2 pieces
- Garlic 1-2 cloves
- Bell pepper 1-2 pcs
- Tomatoes 2 pcs
- Salt, pepper, spices to taste
- Green onions for serving
How to cook: Add chopped onion, salt and spices to the minced meat, mix well. Form cutlets and lightly fry in vegetable oil. Then remove the cutlets from the pan. Chop the onion, bell pepper and garlic and stew in a pan until half cooked. Put cutlets on the resulting vegetable pillow, and pour mashed potatoes from chopped tomatoes on top. A little water can be added if necessary. Simmer cutlets with vegetables under a closed lid for about 20-30 minutes.
Steamed cutlets with cauliflower
Ingredients:
- 200 grams of minced meat
- 1 egg
- 70 grams of cauliflower
- 3-4 tablespoons of boiled rice
- medium onions and carrots
- 1-2 cloves of garlic
How to cook: add chopped onion, cauliflower, egg and salt to the minced meat. Mix well and form patties. Stew onions and carrots in a pan until half cooked. Put cutlets on top and pour water over so that only vegetables are covered with water. Simmer for about 30 minutes under a closed lid.
