These cakes go with a bang instead of bread! Everyone who was given this recipe was delighted. And the most important thing is that the taste does not feel at all that the cakes are made from semolina. This is a great option when you want some baked goods, but the flour is over. Or instead of bread. Very tasty! And there are a minimum of ingredients.

Ingredients:

semolina
yeast
salt
sugar
water
vegetable oil

Preparation:

Knead the dough for the tortillas. In a bowl, mix 500 grams of semolina, 10 grams of dry yeast, 2 teaspoons of sugar and 1 teaspoon of salt. Mix and pour in 300 ml of lukewarm water. Knead the dough.

If you feel that the dough is very sticky, then add a little more semolina, otherwise it will be difficult to form a cake out of it later. Cover the dough with a napkin and put it in a warm place for 40 minutes.

Now you can make cakes.

We grease our hands with vegetable oil, crush the dough a little and divide it into 4-5 equal parts - that is how many cakes will be. Roll out the dough or stretch it with your hands, forming a cake.

Fry in a preheated dry frying pan under the lid. On each side, the tortilla is fried for about 3-4 minutes. The fire should be moderate.

Delicious, ruddy cakes are ready! We eat them with soup instead of bread, or just like that - with tea or milk. I highly recommend giving it a try. Simple, fast and delicious!
