Pay attention to the date of manufacture: it is better that it was June, July, the edge no later than August. At this time, the peas are young and tasty.
If the date is September, October or later, then there is a great chance that the peas will be old and not juicy, not very tasty. And if it's some December, but it is written that it is made from brain varieties, then it is hardly worth buying one.
BUT, if you take the 2nd option "from reconstituted peas", then 100% of the peas will not be tasty and will fit only for soup.
