I love the "Mimosa" salad and often cook it for the holidays. But I constantly meet different variations of this salad. It's time to put an end to it: I found a recipe according to GOST USSR - this is the most correct and classic recipe. I share it with you!
Mimosa salad is a classic recipe according to GOST:
Cook hard-boiled 6-7 eggs, cool, separate the whites from the yolks.
Onions 1 pc (a small onion or even half), chop finely and pour boiling water - this will make the onion softer and not harsh.
Prepare canned fish (saury, pink salmon, sardine): drain the liquid, remove the bones and knead with a fork.
Layered salad "Mimosa". Lay out the layers in the following sequence:
1st layer: egg whites, grated
2nd layer: 130-150 gr grated cheese
3rd layer: canned fish, half
4th layer: onions (squeeze well so that there is no excess liquid)
5 layer: frozen butter 30g
6 layer: canned fish, second half
7 layer: egg yolks, grated
Grease each layer with a thin layer of mayonnaise. To make the salad even more tender and tasty, I recommend rubbing the ingredients directly into the salad bowl.

Here's a salad "Mimosa" turned out. Decorate the top with a sprig of greenery. We put it in the refrigerator and let it soak for 3-4 hours. It turns out very tasty! And no potatoes and carrots are needed.
