" Abnormal" food: when snobbery rears its head

Yesterday I did something terrible. I prepared paprikash and, finding that all the bell peppers were used by the children as a source of vitamins for their fast-growing organisms, did not run to the store, but, experiencing terrible remorse, took out a jar from the pantry lecho.

Of course, this influenced the taste of the finished dish, but I will not say that for the worse. He just became a little different. More saturated because of a greater amount of tomato (after all, it is unrealistic to rid the pepper from the lcho from the tomato). I had to reassure myself that it is permissible to use lecho in many variations, but a strange scratching on my soul still remained.

And, to be honest, I still can't find an emu scratching explanation.

During my childhood and adolescence, using canned food for cooking was considered completely normal. And now, in fact, there is nothing wrong with that, is it not?

Yes, I will not use stew or, even more so, specifically buy it for home supplies. I don’t believe in cataclysms that will deprive us of meat and buckwheat, so I don’t have strategic reserves of them at home.

But this is because it is easier and tastier to buy fresh meat, as for me. And stew is expensive and always questionable (quality, I mean).

However, we always have sorrel in our own juice - our own, relatives. Because sorrel is a tasty thing, and out of season it stands like a wing from a Boeing.

And all kinds of lecho-tomatoes in their own juice, vegetable caviar, all kinds of vegetable spicy stews, pickled vegetables and everything else - we still have them in stock.

However, a little something - there is an idea that you need to buy "straight from the tin". In nm vitamins, it tastes better Although there is still a question - if there are vitamins in winter pepper and whether there is taste in winter (greenhouse, for the most part) tomatoes.

Actually, logic dictates that canned food may turn out to be tastier.

However, the subconscious mind whispers - fresh is better. Like, why canned food, if you can buy the same pepper or tomatoes.

And this subconsciousness scratches - sphilonil, saved on food for his beloved family. They say that canned food is a last resort, it's not normal food... And in general, paprikash with lecho instead of fresh pepper is a perversion. Although I understand it with my mind - it's rather snobbery (and I don't like snobbery).

How do you do it? Or are you using canned ingredients with peace of mind?
