The "royal" potato side dish is ideal for any meat or fish dish. And the best part is that you need a minimum of effort for cooking (the main thing is not to forget to peel the potatoes).
Such spicy potatoes will be a great addition to the New Year's table, and on weekdays it will go well as an independent dish in combination with a vegetable salad. And you don't need a lot of additional ingredients, everything is very simple and straightforward.
Small potatoes are ideal for this dish; if this is not the case, then you can cut medium-sized tubers into 2 or 4 parts, it will also be good. It needs to be boiled in salted water for literally 5-7 minutes.
By this time, the oven should already be preheated to 200 degrees, because then everything will happen very quickly. We send hot potatoes into a beautiful baking dish, in which you can serve the dish directly to the table.
We set a few cloves of whole garlic there (suddenly one of the guests wants baked garlic) and squeeze one clove through a press. Be sure to rub a small piece of peeled ginger with a fine grater. It will give a special piquancy and aroma to our potatoes. Be sure to add a little more salt, black ground pepper, dry paprika, those who like it more spicy can add a little red pepper.
Add a few tablespoons of vegetable oil and mix well the entire contents of the form with a spoon. We send it to the oven for 20 minutes.
The potatoes should be golden brown and completely cooked. You will see that not a single guest will refuse to at least try such a side dish.
