Calorie counting is a comfortable way to lose weight, without absolute restrictions, without prohibitions. The only thing that you are limited is the scope of your KBZHU (calories, proteins, fats and carbohydrates).

For some reason, many who are trying to start their weight loss journey by counting calories have a question - how to find time to prepare food for yourself. And someone does not understand when to cook at all - in fear of something new, apparently, their eyes are big.

I want to say right away that starting to cook separately for yourself - you embark on a path that will lead you to fatigue and the desire to give up everything, if the work schedule is also very busy.

And a balanced diet that is not overloaded with trans fats and extra calories will be useful not only for you, but for your entire family.

Be smarter!

Continue cooking the family's favorite meals, but reduce the calories. The first step is to reduce the amount of oil - this is already a huge step towards reducing the total calorie intake.

Gradually replace too fatty meat in meals with less high-calorie or poultry.

Introduce new recipes to the family. If you do not try anything new, then you will not find dishes that will be tasty for everyone, but less high in calories than usual.

You can eat the same things that you always cook, but for yourself, adjust the weight of the dishes, add more vegetables to each meal for a portion size and saturation of the stomach. You are limited only by your KBZHU.

Your portion will be smaller, for men - more, but with a slice of bread.

In salads, only the dressing is different. They set them aside for themselves and seasoned with yogurt, for example. The family is used to mayonnaise and think that there is nothing wrong with that - let them continue to season with mayonnaise, and you yourself will reduce the calorie content of the salad due to the dressing.

Regarding the question: "when I prepare food for weight loss, I work from morning to evening." I always have a question: a person, in principle, does not cook? And then what does he eat? And here I have several options:

  • Cafe? So now most of the cafe began to indicate the calorie content of the portion.
  • semi-finished products? Even easier - KBZHU is indicated on the package.
  • someone else who has time to cook? Ask him, if you do not count the calorie content of everything cooked, then at least weigh the food and the total weight and write it down in a notebook, and then you will calculate everything in the calorie counter in 5 minutes.

Look for compromises, negotiate with family members, ask them for help.

And if you still cook something, then it has already been written above that it is not necessary to cook for yourself separately and you will not need additional free time for cooking.

Of course, it's always easier to find excuses and do nothing. But in the world you are not the only very busy and working from morning to evening.

Today I wanted sweets, or rather something sweet. I do not consider myself a sweet tooth and I will always exchange the cake for lightly salted or smoked fish. But for some reason today, after returning from grocery shopping, I really wanted coffee and sweets.

I had a snack of coffee with milk (60 g) and two sweets (30 g each).

I had such a snack 275 kcal.

For lunch I made mashed potatoes, adding literally 15 g of butter and 100 ml of milk, leaving a small amount of water in which the mashed potatoes were cooked.

My lunch: 150 g mashed potatoes, 150 g pickled again and 85 g lightly salted herring.

Lunch at 415 cal.

And for dinner, I fried pork tenderloin on a drop of oil (tenderloin is the lowest-calorie part), boiled pasta and added vegetables: 150 g of pork tenderloin, 100 g of boiled pasta and 150 g of tomato - 515 kcal

The calorie content of the day is 1645. B - 101, F - 77, U - 137.

Regular food. Nothing was prepared for anyone separately. Only portions by weight and additions differ: someone has more bread, someone will put meat on sandwiches instead of fish, someone has pate, someone sausage, someone eat not 2 candies per day, but 3-4.
