Such an orange dessert in a glass is perfect for a New Year's festive table. Such a dessert is prepared without baking, it is very simple and from available products. You can add orange slices to the orange layer. Also, this dessert can be poured in layers, alternating several times with a creamy and orange layer. You will get a beautiful striped dessert.

Prepare such a fragrant and light orange dessert in a glass, it will surely please both adults and children.

Ingredients:

Creamy layer:

  • cream 10% - 500 ml
  • sugar - 50 g
  • gelatin - 10 g
  • water - 50 ml

Orange layer:

  • orange juice - 500 ml
  • sugar - 50 g
  • gelatin - 10 g
  • water - 50 ml

Decoration:

  • orange - 1 pc.
  • mint - for decoration

Step by step recipe

1. First, let's prepare a creamy layer.
Pour 10 g of gelatin into a bowl and pour 50 ml of water. Mix everything and leave the gelatin to swell for 10 minutes.

2. Pour 500 ml of cream with 10% fat into a saucepan. Pour in 50 g of sugar. We put everything on fire a little less than average. Heat the cream, stirring occasionally. When the sugar is melted and the cream is heated to about 50 degrees, remove it from the heat. You do not need to bring the cream to a boil.

3. Add the already swollen gelatin to the hot cream. We mix everything until the gelatin is completely dissolved. For this dessert, you can use cream and a higher fat content, for example 15% or 20%.

4. Pour the prepared mass into glasses or bowls, filling them by about half. I divided it into 4 glasses of 290 ml each.
We put everything in the refrigerator to freeze. My first layer hardened in about 1.5-2 hours.

5. The creamy layer is frozen, we are preparing the second layer.
Pour 10 g of gelatin into a bowl and pour 50 ml of water. Mix everything and leave the gelatin to swell for 10 minutes.

6. Pour 500 ml of orange juice into a saucepan. I used commercial orange juice, but you can also use freshly squeezed juice.
Pour 50 g of sugar here and add the swollen gelatin. We put everything on fire.

7. Heat over low heat, stirring constantly. As soon as the gelatin dissolves, remove the saucepan from the heat. Let the orange mass cool to room temperature.

8. Pour the prepared and cooled orange mass onto the frozen creamy layer.
Again we put everything in the refrigerator to freeze.

9. The dessert froze. Preparing the decoration. Take an orange and cut off two thin circles. Cut the circles into 4 parts.
Put 2 slices of orange on top of the frozen dessert. We also decorate the dessert with mint leaves.
Dessert is ready, you can serve it on the table.

The creamy orange dessert turned out to be beautiful and delicious. It perfectly combines a delicate creamy layer with aromatic orange juice. A pleasant sourness adds a special taste to the dessert.
