Ingredients: boiled beets, boiled potatoes, boiled carrots, herring, onions, mayonnaise, Dill

Cooking method:

Lay foil on the table, and cover with cling film on top.

The beets were boiled for an hour, cooled, peeled and now cut into thin circles. We leave the edges. So we chop 2 beets. We spread the beetroot mugs on the film, slightly bumping into each other, forming a rectangle.

Rub the remaining pieces on a grater and spread them in a thin layer on the beetroot mugs. But I still have small edges and I rubbed more small beets.

Pour a little mayonnaise on top and spread it over the entire surface with a thin layer.

Now a layer of potatoes. The potatoes were boiled in their skins for 30 minutes, cooled, peeled and grated. We spread the next thin potato layer. Lubricate the top with mayonnaise.

Boil the carrots for about 25 minutes, cool, peel and grate. We spread the carrots in the next thin layer. Lubricate the top with mayonnaise.

Put pieces of herring fillet in the center. Next to it are strips of chopped onions. Put dill on top of the onion.

We wrap it up. First one side and then the other. Raise the edge by the film and drop it onto the herring, press down a little and level the edge. Move the edge of the film. Now we lift the other edge of the film and wrap it too. We connect the edges of the film.

Now we wrap the whole roll tightly in foil and put it in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.

Expand and cut. Decorate the appetizer with dill.
