#winter holidays I tried to make a decoration for the New Year's table from a simple cupcake
Ingredients: natural dried apricot (kaisa), eggs, sugar, vanilla sugar or to taste, salt, butter, kefir 2.5% fat (fat content to taste), soda, sifted flour, sifted cocoa powder, toasted and chopped walnuts, toasted and chopped hazelnuts, confectionery white chocolate glaze, Confectionery sprinkles for decorations
Cooking method:
Pour boiling water over the kaisu and dry it
Divide the kaisu into 2 parts according to the number of apricots and cut into cubes. The cupcake will be two-colored and you need to add kaisa to each part of the dough.
Prepare the dough: in a bowl, whisk or mix eggs, sugar, vanilla sugar, salt
Add melted butter, kefir, baking soda and stir again
Add flour in parts, mix with a mixer until smooth.
Divide the dough into 2 equal portions.
Add sifted cocoa powder to one part of the dough and mix. Add half the apricot, hazelnuts and stir
Also add apricots, walnuts to the white dough and mix.
I use a baking dish Ø20 cm, 7 cm high, grease it with butter, grind one half with flour, the other half with cocoa powder.
Pour the dough from two bowls at the same time into the mold. To fill in the gaps, shake the form, and at the junction of the flowers, make a sharp transition with a toothpick or skewer, randomly mixing the dough of two colors with each other.
Bake in a preheated oven at t = 180 ° C for 40-50 minutes in top / bottom mode, depending on your oven, until the white part of the dough is golden brown. Readiness can be checked with a wooden skewer.
Let the cake cool and remove the pan.
For decoration, melt the chocolate icing according to the manufacturer's instructions and pour it over the completely cooled cake.
Decorate the top with pastry sprinkles.
