Today I took two recipes as a basis - captain's meat and French meat, and based on them I prepared the main hot dish for the New Year's table. My recipe does not contain mayonnaise, which means the meat will not be greasy. I sincerely recommend cooking hot for the new year using this recipe! Such yummy will not leave anyone indifferent!

Cooking method:
Pass the meat and garlic through a meat grinder. Add salt, black pepper and smoked paprika. We mix. Cut the onions into half rings. We transfer to a deep container. Fill with hot water, add sugar, salt and vinegar. Stir and let it brew for at least 10 minutes.
Cut the potatoes into thin circles. Put the chopped potatoes in a bowl, add salt, pepper, spices and some vegetable oil. Mix well so that each potato slice is well seasoned with spices.
Put the onions on the bottom of a deep baking sheet. Put the minced meat on the next layer. Lay out the chopped potatoes in the next layer. Then cheese. Put chopped tomatoes on the cheese in circles.
For pouring, prepare the Bechamel sauce. We put the saucepan on the fire, melt the butter in it. Add flour to the butter and mix very thoroughly. Lightly fry the resulting mass. Pour milk in a thin stream, stirring all the time. Continuing to stir, cook until the sauce thickens.
Salt, add nutmeg, mix well again and remove from heat. We completely cover our meat and potatoes. We send the baking sheet to the oven preheated to 180 degrees for 50/60 minutes. More details in the video recipe at the link:
