Today we have dumplings with potatoes and mushrooms. You can use forest mushrooms that were harvested in the fall and frozen, or take mushrooms from the store. All the same, it will turn out very tasty and, most importantly, mentally!
Call everyone from the sofas from salads and TV, drive them off the slides and sledges, let them help and participate in a real family action.
It's time to cook something hot and satisfying, except for boring dishes.
We make dumplings! Modeling, of course, is a painstaking process, but at the end everyone will be satisfied.
Ingredients for the dough:
- 0.5 cups warm milk
- 2 tbsp. l. vegetable oil
- 400 gr. flour
- a pinch of salt
- egg
For filling:
- 0.5 kg potatoes
- onion head
- butter or vegetable oil for frying
- 1 cup shredded mushrooms
- salt
- pepper
How to cook:
1. Beat the egg with salt with a fork, pour in warm milk and vegetable oil. Start kneading the dough, adding flour. The dough should be made soft, not sticky or tough. Hands themselves will understand when enough is enough. This means that the rest of the flour will be used for rolling and sprinkling the table.
2. Cover the dough with a bowl right on the table and leave for half an hour.
3. Prepare the filling. Wash the potatoes, peel, cut into 2-4 pieces and boil in salted water. Drain the liquid, mash the potatoes in mashed potatoes.
4. In a frying pan, fry onions in small cubes in any oil, add mushrooms to it and simmer everything until tender. Season with salt and pepper.
5. Combine potatoes and mushroom stir-fry. Stir well and cool.
6. Divide the dough into pieces, roll each of them on a flour table. And we begin to sculpt dumplings with our warm hands.
To do this, mark and cut circles on a rolled out layer of dough with a glass or a glass.
7. Put the potato filling in each circle with a teaspoon. Then fold the dough in half and pinch the edges well. If you know how, then make a beautiful edge in the form of a pigtail.
Dumplings can be frozen or immediately cooked in boiling salted water for 3-4 minutes after surfacing.
Serve with butter and sour cream. Enjoy!
