Pinchos - a small sandwich on a lightly fried baguette, a light snack served in bars in Spain with beer or red wine. The appetizer is very similar to Tapas and, like tapas, can be served cold or hot. Unlike tapas, pintxos are more sophisticated and take longer to prepare. Tapas were originally a free snack for a glass of wine, so no one bothered too much about making them. But pintxos have always been a treat that you have to pay for separately. Most often, dishes with pintxos are located at the bar counter. In some regions, it is customary to take them from there on their own, informing the waiter when paying for food the number of pintxos eaten and drinks drunk. #newyear # snacks
Ingredients: White loaf, ➡️ Pinchos with blackberries and brie cheese, Blackberries, Red dry wine (Pinot noir), Sugar, Brie cheese, Thyme leaves, ➡️ Pinchos with artichokes and jamon (Parma ham), Canned artichoke, Fresh basil (parsley), Jamon (Parma ham), ➡️ Pinchos with crab salad, Crab salad, A little shrimp, Spinach leaves (rings cucumber)
Cooking method:
Cut the bread into slices, sprinkle with olive oil and dry in an oven preheated to 180 ° for about 5 minutes.
# 1: Stir the sugar in the wine until it is completely dissolved. Soak the berries for at least an hour. Place the slices of cheese on top of the bread and place under the grill to bake the cheese well. Place on top of the berries and decorate with thyme leaves (which I happily forgot about 🥴). This appetizer is served hot.
# 2 Place a spinach leaf (or cucumber slice) on top of the bread and crab salad on top. Garnish the pintxos with a couple of shrimp.
# 3 Chop the artichokes and herbs finely. Mix with a little mayonnaise and season to taste. Place the rolled ham slices on top of the bread and the artichoke salad on top.
