Cocktails can create a good mood at any party. They are able to set the theme of the holiday. A simple recipe for author's cuisine - BLACKBERRY COCKTAIL WITH CHAMPAGNE AND GIN - looks gentle, romantic, the other half will like it, a great addition on New Year's Eve or other celebration. #Christmas
Ingredients: sugar, water, blackberries, genie, blackberry syrup (cook it yourself), champagne, blackberries for garnish, thyme for garnish
Cooking method:
In a small saucepan, bring to a boil 1 cup blackberries, 1 cup water and 1 cup sugar (~ about 4 servings). Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes, until the blackberries are soft and the syrup is deep pinkish-reddish in color. Remove from heat, strain, let cool. Can be refrigerated for serving up to 7 days.
Prepare glasses (you can use champagne). Pour 30 ml of genie into each, 30 ml of blackberry syrup, throw in 2-3 frozen or fresh hedgehogs, fill the rest of the glass with champagne. Decorate with a sprig of thyme. Deliciously refreshing!
P.s. If desired, the rim of the glass can be tricked into sugar or powdered sugar for more festivity).
