Couscous groats are made from finer semolina, much less often from other cereals. Semolina is sprinkled with water, then grains are formed from the resulting mass, which are then sprinkled with dry semolina or flour, and then sieved. Too small grains passing through the sieve are again sprinkled with semolina, etc. Traditionally, couscous was made by women, but since couscous is a very time consuming process, the production of couscous is now mechanized (Wikipedia).
Ingredients: Couscous (groats), Boiling water, Fresh cucumber, Bulgarian pepper, Boiled peeled shrimps, Olive oil, Salt
Cooking method:
First, let's prepare the couscous. Pour 1 cup of cereal into a container and pour 1.5 cups of boiling water. We leave for 5-10 minutes, loosen with a fork, the couscous is ready (for more detailed instructions, see the packaging of the cereal).
Cut the cucumber and pepper into small cubes. Put couscous, shrimp, cucumber and pepper in a salad bowl, season with olive oil and salt to taste. The salad is ready. Bon appetit and success in cooking !!!
