I always have beets in my fridge. Several times a week I cook various salads, I can't imagine my table without them.

You can make a lot of delicious salads with beets, I have more than 12 recipes on my channel. In this article, I have collected those recipes that are more suitable for everyday life.

Basically, I do not use boiled beets, but baked beets. Baked beets have a brighter flavor and aroma. If I still boil the beets, then I literally boil for 30-40 minutes and let them cool completely in the same water in which they were cooked.

Sweet salad with beets, honey and orange

Ingredients:

  • Beet 600 grams
  • Orange juice 30 ml
  • Peel of one orange
  • Vegetable oil 2-3 tablespoons
  • Liquid honey 1 tbsp. a spoon
  • Parsley, salt, pepper to taste

I cut the raw beets into pieces and put them on a baking sheet, grease them with oil and send them to the preheated oven for 20-30 minutes. Next, I remove the zest from one orange, and then squeeze the juice. I add oil and liquid honey to the juice with zest.

I mix everything well and fill the still warm beets, let it brew for about an hour and serve mono.

Salad with baked vegetables, apple and cheese

Ingredients:

  • Beets 1 pc medium size
  • Potatoes 2 pieces
  • Apple 1 pc
  • Cheese 100 grams
  • Green onions
  • Salt pepper

I bake beets and potatoes, cool them, peel them and cut them into cubes. I cut the sweet apple and cheese into the same cubes. I use Adyghe cheese. I add green onions, salt and vegetable oil. I mix everything and serve.

Bavarian beetroot (alternative to our beets with garlic and mayonnaise)

Ingredients:

  • Beetroot 2 pcs small size
  • Vegetable oil 1 tablespoon
  • Horseradish table 1 level teaspoon
  • Salt to taste
  • Sugar 0.5 teaspoon
  • Lemon juice 1 tablespoon
  • Black pepper to taste

Grate the beets, add oil, horseradish, salt and sugar, lemon juice. Mix everything well and serve immediately. Great with meat or mashed potatoes.
