An excellent recipe for a hearty Tatar cuisine from fried pieces of beef stew with potatoes and pickles, which will pleasantly surprise you with its excellent taste!

Azu with beef and potatoes in Tatar style

Ingredients: Beef, Potatoes, Carrots (medium), Onions, Pickles, Vegetable oil, Tomato paste, Meat broth, Garlic, Pepper mix, Paprika, Bay leaf, Dried herbs, Salt

Cooking method:

Cut into small cubes 1 centimeter thick and 3-4 centimeters long 350 grams of beef tenderloin. We put a cauldron or a saucepan with a thick bottom on the stove, then pour 3 tablespoons into it vegetable oil and heat it up, then put the meat in a cauldron and stir fry it on a large the fire of the stove. Cut 2 large heads of onions into half rings and put them in a cauldron with meat, then mix together and fry the plates over high heat until the onions are transparent.

Cut 1 medium carrot into small pieces, then put it in a cauldron and stir fry the stove over high heat for 2 minutes. Grate 2 pickled cucumbers on a coarse grater, then put them in a cauldron and, stirring, continue to fry the stove over high heat.

Pour 300 milliliters of meat broth into a cauldron and mix all the ingredients together, then cover the cauldron with a lid and simmer vegetables and meat over low heat for 35-40 minutes. Cut 700 grams of potatoes into small cubes, then put them in a frying pan set on the stove with a preheated vegetable oil and fry the plates on low heat without stirring for 9 minutes, then mix and continue to fry 10 minutes.

Put 1 tablespoon of tomato paste in a cauldron and mix all the ingredients well, then cover the cauldron with a lid and continue to stew vegetables and meat for 20 minutes, then add salt to the cauldron to taste, 0.5 teaspoon of paprika, 0.5 teaspoon of a mixture of ground peppers, 2-3 cloves of garlic passed through a press and mix everything Ingredients. Add 2 bay leaves to the cauldron, then pour dried homemade herbs to taste and mix all the ingredients together again.

Put the fried potatoes in the cauldron and mix all the ingredients together, then cover the cauldron with a lid and continue cook the dish until fully cooked for 7 minutes, then lay out the prepared hearty Tatar dish on portioned plates and serve to table. Good appetite!
