# Fast Cooked unpeeled beets are kept in the refrigerator for 3-4 days. During this time, you can prepare a variety of simple and delicious beetroot salads in a hurry. I share the recipe for one of them in this article. This is a beetroot salad with apples and walnuts.

Ingredients: beets (one large or two medium), apples (one medium), walnuts (or other nuts, seeds; sesame seeds or flax seeds are also suitable - 1 tbsp. l.), salt, mayonnaise (sour cream or vegetable oil)

Cooking method:

You will need three main products - boiled or baked beets, an apple and nuts. You can take any nuts. They are easily replaced by seeds, sesame seeds, or flax seeds.

Vegetables and fruits for beetroot salad can be sliced ​​in different ways. Or you can just rub it on a grater. This time I'll cut the beets into small cubes. Unpeeled boiled beets keep well in the refrigerator for at least 3-4 days. Therefore, you can cook it in advance and during this time prepare yourself such quick salads, changing additional ingredients.

I also cut the apple into cubes. If the apple peel is tough, you can peel it off. My nuts will be walnuts today. I will chop them with a knife. I pre-dried them a little in a dry frying pan. Therefore, they crumble easily.

Putting everything together in a salad bowl. Salt a little. You can fill this salad with homemade mayonnaise or sour cream. Or vegetable oil. If you like sourness, then add a spoonful of lemon juice. If you like a sweeter taste - a spoonful of honey. And you can do both, it will also be delicious.

The combination of the softness of the beetroot, the firmness of the apples and the firmness of the nuts make the texture of this beetroot salad varied and interesting. Try it Bon appetit!
