Mannik is a pie out of nothing, as many housewives believe. Since sometimes no flour, no eggs, no milk is required for its preparation. Only semolina always remains unchanged in the ingredients.
Today, our editors have prepared for you a recipe for the most delicious chocolate manna pie, which is not a shame to serve to guests and enjoy tea or coffee themselves.
Ingredients:
- 1 glass of milk
- 1 cup semolina
- 0.5 cup sugar
- 1 hour l. soft butter
- 3 eggs
- baking powder on the tip of a knife
- 3 art. l. cocoa powder
- bitter dark chocolate bar + 3 tbsp. l. hot water or cream for frosting
How to cook:
1. In a bowl, mix semolina, sugar, cocoa and baking powder.
2. Separately, beat eggs and combine with milk.
3. Combine the dry part and the milk part, kneading the semolina thoroughly so that no lumps come out.
4. Leave the mixture for at least 1 hour so that the semolina begins to swell.
5. Melt half of the chocolate bar in a water bath or in the microwave and add to the dough. You can simply grate the chocolate directly into the bowl with the dough. Mix.
6. Grease a baking dish with oil and sprinkle with semolina.
7. Put the dough into a mold, level it and place in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 40 minutes.
8. While the cake is baking, prepare the frosting. For her, crumble and melt the second half of the chocolate, combine with hot water or cream, add 1 tsp. l. butter. If needed, sweeten 1 tsp. l. powdered sugar.
9. Cool the finished manna a little in the form, then transfer it to a wire rack with a towel and cool.
10. Cover the cake with still warm viscous glaze and you can serve.
Bon Appetit!
